Just Tennis Wraps Up Winter 2014 Programs

This winter, Just Tennis LLC and its staff conducted programs at Collegium Charter School, as well as its new sites, Morgantown Community Church, Valley Forge Elementary School, and the United Sports Training Center.

At Collegium, we ran an 8 and under clinic, a 10 and under clinic, and an 11-14 clinic; all of which expanded as the session continued.  Here are some action shots from today, the last day at Collegium before we start our outdoor programming.

Justin D. will wrap up clinics at USTC this week. This class featured current and aspiring high school players from Downingtown East, Downingtown STEM Academy, and the Westtown School.

We’ve had a crazy winter of constant snow days and make up dates for our Valley Forge Elementary School clinics, but we’re going to finish these this week with the help of one of our instructors, Marjie.  We’ll be back again for more spring tennis at Valley Forge in April!

Lastly, I’ll be closing things out at the Morgantown Community Church this week, our brand new site. We’re hoping these enthusiastic young 8U and 10U players from the Morgantown/Elverson area will continue to enjoy tennis this spring and summer with some new leagues we’re establishing in that area.

It’s been an icy, cold, snowy winter, but we’ve still managed to have a fun and successful winter season. We’ll still be teaching a few PATD Gold Cup Clinics in Newtown Square and Malvern, and finishing things up at ACAC. But soon enough, we’ll be back to outside full time.

Stay tuned for a Spring Preview! Starting March 9, we’ll be starting our programming outdoors. We’ll be operating local clinics in Exton out of Meadowbrook Manor Park and the Rhondda Community Courts, we’ll be fielding a USTA 18U girls team, and will be running programs at Picket Post Swim and Tennis Club, and Applecross Country Club. I’ll be assuming the role of Head Coach at the Westtown School and Justin D. will be serving as the Assistant Boys Coach for Downingtown East High School.

Stay tuned for more spring information and enjoy the nice weather! Hopefully soon the snow on the courts will be melted as well.
