What is it?
Tennis Block Party is a time for the community to have fun and experience all the wonderful aspects of tennis. This is a no cost exhibition for all ages to enjoy all the games with free food, free drinks, free racquets and free prizes
What is on show?
Tennis stations are set up for all ages as follows:
10 and under Tennis: 10 and under Tennis is a tennis programs for all kids ages from 5-10. Most everything is sized down with smaller racquets and courts except some of the balls which are softer and larger for the 8 and under tennis.
Junior Team Tennis Ages 12-18: Junior Team Tennis is not only a progression from 10 and under Quickstart but a welcome organized tennis program for young players 12-18. In this program players attend well organized practices and again USTA sanctioned competitive leagues. For players wishing to progress in high school tennis this is an excellent way to hone their skills.
Adult Tennis: Whether you are 20 or 90 and have never played tennis ever in your life, this is a time to experience this game and get hooked on it for life! We will show you how to get started by attending Adult Clinics and have fun. For players wishing to progress to more
competitive tennis we will show you avenues to participate in USTA leagues.
How can you get more involved?
Tennis stations represented by all the area organizations will be set up so that you can get more information and applications to sign up for the programs of your choice.
